There is an approx 1 inch lip left on, trim to suit. The dimensions are taken from the inside at the maximum points, the 1 inch lip is not included in the sizes.so has a cut out at the front to allow additional air flow through into the engine.
Fitting: The Bulge can be pop riveted on or alternatively, it can be bonded on using a silicone based adhesive, available at your local Motor Factors, then blended in.
Paint Prep: Firstly, sand the panel down roughly, then apply primer/filler – a rough sand down will ensure the primer/filler keys well. Sand down again to a smooth finish and finally apply top coat, either Cellulose or Two Pack can be used.
