Application: This is an additional cosmetic spoiler.
Durability: This is suitable for road use or racing. An additional layer of matting is applied on areas for the attachment points or where holes need to be drilled.
Bolt Holes: We don’t pre-drill any bolt holes, it is far better to line the panel up and drill the holes where needed, also any holes in the panel make it more fragile and susceptible to damage in transit. Tip: Drill elongated holes to give room for adjustment when fitting.
Fitting: This spoiler comes with two 6mm captive nuts bonded in. Place the spoiler at your preferred position on the bootlid, mark and drill two holes to take the bolts. A small bead of silicone around the spoiler would be ideal to seal it to the bootlid.
Paint Prep: Firstly, sand the panel down roughly, then apply primer/filler – a rough sand down will ensure the primer/filler keys well. Sand down again to a smooth finish and finally apply top coat, either Cellulose or Two Pack can be used.
